Mowlie is a story-driven puzzle adventure inspired by the art style of illustrated children’s books.
Play as a young owl leaving home for the very first time after a strange light begins calling to him from the forest. Alongside a small treasure-obsessed creature named Sprig, you’ll explore forgotten places, solve light-based puzzles, and uncover what happened to a world that once knew warmth and daylight.
With a all hand-painted environments, storybook-inspired visuals, and a quiet atmospheric world, Mowlie focuses on exploration, emotion, and fun characters!

I played your game for my youtube channel and I have to say that I absolutely loved it. First, I want to tell you the obvious that the art is beautiful. It leans heavily into that magical-forest feel but the color scheme you chose makes it pop in such a unique way that it will definitely stand out enough to attract multiple demographics. I feel like the puzzle solving mechanic is also pretty unique and has a lot you could do with it. Using the light is so enjoyable and the game feels absolutely cozy. It's the kind of game you can curl up on a couch, on a rainy day, with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or tea, and just feel good for a little while. I'll post my video for you below if you feel like checking it out, but I'm going to keep my eye on this game because I would love to play the full version of it one day. Please keep going with it because this is so beautiful and sweet.
